We dismantled the handpump on the grounds of the mission hospital in order to carry out a pumping test. It turned out that the original 46m deep well is now only 26m deep.
The pumping test also removed a lot of sand. At the end of the 24-hour pumping test, the well had become 31m deep again. Its capacity of 1,100 litres of water per hour is too low to be able to establish a water supply.

Our last project took us to Uganda: the sewing school in Adyaka/Uganda received a hand pump. The village population also benefits from this.
We are pleased to announce that we now also have contacts in North America and South Sudan: Rossi and Margit Müller-Shamir are our representatives in Canada.
