As of today the Halfway House of Prison Fellowship Malawi has a water treatment with chlorination. In cooperation with Prison Fellowship Malawi, private sponsors from the USA and Canada have installed a water treatment with chlorine and trained the staff in operation and maintenance.
The M-100 from WaterStep was used. Salt, water and electricity were enough to sterilize the water with the M-100. The water from the tap is now directly drinkable and does not have to be boiled.Sustainable water projects in Africa: How we create access to clean water, sanitation and education
